The spirit of Dayly
Every outfit takes courage to post. Rate the look, never the person. Be generous with inspiration, honest with ratings and kind in comments. Dayly is a women-only space, built so women can share their style without fear of harassment.
These guidelines apply to everything on Dayly: posts, captions, comments, ratings, profiles and Shelves.
Respectful participation
- Comment on the outfit — fit, colour, styling — not on bodies, skin, weight, age or appearance.
- Disagree kindly. A low rating is fine; cruelty is not.
- Respect all budgets, sizes, cultures and traditions. Ethnic, western, thrifted or designer — every style belongs.
Harassment and bullying
- No insults, mocking, body-shaming, threats, or encouraging others to pile on.
- No repeated unwanted contact, or following someone across the app after they have blocked you.
- No sexual comments, sexualised content, or requests for private photos.
- No sharing someone’s personal information (doxxing), or threatening to.
Hate and discrimination
We remove content that attacks or demeans people based on religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness, including slurs, stereotypes and hateful symbols.
Authenticity and impersonation
- Be yourself. Do not pretend to be another person, brand or organisation.
- Post outfits you wore or styled, or that you have permission to share. Credit photographers and brands where you can.
- One person, one account. Fake or duplicate accounts are removed.
Spam and manipulation
No spam, repetitive posting, misleading links, unauthorised selling or advertising, or schemes to inflate followers, likes or ratings. See the Content & Rating Policy for how we protect ratings and leaderboards. [Product decision: state whether creators may tag brands or post paid partnerships, and the disclosure required]
Unsafe and illegal content
- No nudity or sexually explicit content.
- No content involving anyone under 18.
- No violence, self-harm promotion, dangerous challenges, or illegal goods.
- No content that infringes copyright or trademarks, or that breaks Indian law.
Privacy of others
Do not post photos of other people without their consent, especially strangers photographed in public. Do not share screenshots of private posts, Shelves or conversations. If someone asks you to remove a photo of them, please do.
Reporting and blocking
You can report a post, comment or account from within the App, and block anyone at any time. A person you block can no longer see or interact with your content. [Product decision: confirm exactly what blocking hides, both ways]
If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (112 in India). To reach our team, visit Report a Problem.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, we may:
- remove content or comments;
- remove ratings or exclude content from leaderboards;
- temporarily limit features or suspend an account;
- permanently remove an account and block re-registration;
- report illegal content to the authorities where required by law.
If you think we made a mistake, you can appeal through Contact & Support. [Product decision: define appeal process and response time]
